Me At Brunch In The City III

What up everybody! I just wanted to tell you guys about a cool event I attended! About a week ago I went to an event called Brunch In The City hosted by Female Department! This is their 3rd annual fall event, I first heard about it last year but I was unable to make it but it sounded like such an amazing event that I made it my own personal business to make sure that I would make it to the one this year and I did! And it was great! It was a cold, rainy day but everyone showed up in their best and came out to support local, female entrepreneurship. The ladies at Female Department are absolutely right in saying that Fashion is often (wrongfully) associated with a certain superficiality; but little is known about its ability to gather, connect, and unite like-minded people. The event was held at 1414 Crescent Street; in the setting of a beautiful, modernly decorated venue. For those of you who are familiar with the address, you'll recognize that it is that of the old Parasuco Jeans Flagship store. We were treated to elegant drinks all afternoon sponsored by DISARONNO and TIA MARIA . We sipped our drinks and munched on appetizers provided by Seasoned Dreams catering. As we browsed the new collections of the local vendors: Jane&Rye Boutique La Petite Robe Noire Le Petit Tri anon, Pâtisserie Petit Lapin Le Coffret de Rachel Katherine Karambelas Jewelry Climawear Pursebox Boutique Malavi da KŌDE Cosmetics Entreprise Sakao Mademoiselle Veste DOSE Juice Régal Matinal Tommy LCC vins et spiritueux UNIK Cocktails Not to mention, got to watch the fashion show displaying the new fall collection by Female Department. All in all and had a blast, met a lot of cool people. Check out the pictures from this event.
