Fashion Preview Night 1

Last week I was lucky enough to attend the 4th edition of Fashion Previews fashion show, organized by Charity Preview Mode. This is an event where 15 fashion designers in Montreal showcase their unique and creative collection over a period of three days. Looks like Montreal fashion week are going to be a thing!! Last Tuesday was opening night. It took place in downtown Montreal at La Maison OGILVY, on the beautifully decorated 5th floor. If you guys have ever been to La Maison OGILVY you know what I mean. Super, super chic! The venue was decorated by none other than Haute Balloon. They never fail to deliver nothing but absolute elegance at every event they grace. Before the show started I browsed the local designer merchants, munched on cupcakes from Petit Lapin Bakery (always the best) and mingled with my fellow attendees. A lot of people from Montreal’s fashion industry, and even a few familiar faces! Especially Stefanie Nakamura, the owner and creator of Miyuki Crochet who I’ve been running into her a lot lately at Montreal fashion events. Her Crochet work was being featured in the line for WRKDEPT! Go Stephanie! It’s really cool to see people that you mostly only see on social media in real life J! The designers featured on opening night were: WRKDEPT MB ALPHAWEAR HUTCHISON JONCAS Each showcase was very unique and awesome. But I think that I enjoyed JONCAS collection the most! Really interesting and beautiful approach surrounding nature! I sat next to and made friends with these two awesome bloggers! Its fun to talk and make comments during the show (quietly of course haha) and especially when the show is so awesome, there’s a lot to talk about! Left with a nice little gift bag from AVEDA.
